Algester is a one-to-one BYOD iPad school from Prep to Year 6. Each student has access to a device or a shared device for their learning. Classrooms and learning spaces have Wireless Access Points and the school has a high-speed, high-volume internet connection. All classrooms have data projectors with Apple TVs for mirroring computers and iPads. Teachers and students can display and interact with digital content.
Algester State School was recognised as an Apple Distinguished School in 2019 and continues to maintain this status and provides an innovative approach to the integration of digital technologies into the ways of working at our school.
