Visitors and volunteers to our school
Our school is appreciative of the volunteer helpers who assist in classrooms each day in tasks such as reading, checking in homework, sport, art activities, cultural events and more. If you would like to volunteer to assist in classrooms please coordinate this with the class teacher. The decision to allow volunteers if that of the classroom teacher and the school.
All volunteers and visitors to the school are required to sign in and out at the school office each time they visit. This is done via an electronic system known as Passtab. This is for student safety and insurance purposes.
We are always after volunteers for our Tuckshop, Uniform Shop and for special events that crop up throughout the year such as Multifest. Below is a brief description on what these entail. Please fill in the Parent Helper Invitation Form and email it to algester.operations@gmail.com if you can assist.
Tuckshop
| Two hours from 9–11am Monday-Friday, Helping prepare tuckshop orders for our children. |
| Small Events Team | We need volunteers to help run our Fathers’ Day, Mothers’ Day and Christmas Stalls. Venue: AMAC. |
| Multi-Fest Carnival | Committee to organise our Annual Multi-Fest Carnival.

| P&C Association | Meetings held monthly on the 3rd Tuesday each month from 6:00 pm in the Admin Block. Whole of school development and planning including fundraising and excursions.
