Visitors and volunteers to our school
Our school is appreciative of the volunteer helpers who assist in classrooms each day in tasks such as reading, checking in homework, sport, art activities, cultural events and more. If you would like to volunteer to assist in classrooms, please coordinate this with the class teacher. The decision to allow volunteers if that of the classroom teacher and the school.
All volunteers and visitors to the school are required to sign in and out at the school office each time they visit. This is done via an electronic system known as Passtab. This is for student safety and insurance purposes.

We always appreciate volunteers to help in our Tuckshop, Uniform Shop and during special events such as sports BBQs, at fundraising stalls, and our annual Multifest.
Volunteering can be a regular thing you build into your routine, or it can be an ad-hoc, as available activity. Either way, we thank you for your support and look forward to working with you soon.
Here's an idea of the type of help we're always looking for, and links to nominate your interest and availability:
Tuckshop
| Helping to prepare the daily lunch orders for classroom delivery - Sticking labels on the tuckshop bags for the day’s orders
- Picking and sorting drinks orders
- Cutting up fruit
- Making sandwiches and wraps
All guidance provided; no food experience necessary; no cooking required.
The tuckshop is busy every day between 8:30am and 11am, with Monday and Friday being the busiest days. Any time you can offer will be much appreciated!

Fundraising and Events
| Assisting with activities that include the set-up, manning, and pack-down of various events. For example, typical tasks for: Sports Day BBQs: - Set up
- Cooking on the BBQ
- Selling sausages, cool drinks
- Pack up
Fundraising Stalls (Mothers' Day, Fathers' Day, Christmas time): - Manning the stall
- Helping children select their items for purchase
- Helping children with payment and receiving their change
Multifest (our annual carnival/fete community celebration): - Tasks prior to the event such as baking goods, sorting ticket orders, doing letterbox drops
- Tasks on the day of the event including set up
- Help at the event like selling tickets, manning the P&C stalls, pack up
The activities linked to our Fundraising and Events unit are varied in nature and even an hour from each family throughout the year will be an enormous help. The P&C puts out event-specific calls for assistance but you can also register to be on the event master list. |
P&C Association Committee
| Attend meetings to have input to whole of school development and planning, including fundraising and excursions.
Starting at 6pm, meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday each month.
