who share school devices are not permitted to take them home. Our
experience is that transformational learning only occurs when students have
access to their own devices so all parents are encouraged to provide a device
for their children to use at school and at home.
Primary School has been recognised by the Metropolitan Education Region as a
leader in this field and is part of the #qldtechschools program. Algester
Primary School has also been acknowledged by Apple Computers as a digital
leader and is part of their Towards Apple Transformation Program.
Primary School takes much pride in being one of the first schools in the Region
to be implementing the Australian Curriculum's Digital and Design Technologies
Learning Areas across the school. We are confidently preparing your
children for a future of work that strongly embraces technology and the 21st
century learning skills of collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving
